I have database lists in Excel format. (1) What are the steps to access the data. (2) How can I view this accessed data in an HTML format?

I understand how to save an excel database list as an HTML file.

What I want to do is "push a button" have the computer do some calculations and then based on calculation results, pick and choose data from various lists and display in an HTML format.

How could this be done?

I preassume that by Excel format you mean .xls or .csv file. If i am correct then for your first question you can use Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access to open the files.

And for the second answer Both Microsoft Excel and Access has a Save As menu in which you can select html webpage and the data gets published as a webpage.
