Only if she wins.
She's the frontrunner for the Dems, according to the polls. She's leading with 53% of the Democrat's support. That is really, really good.
The Republicans are having a hard time finding a good candidate. McCain is getting old and supports more troops in Iraq. Guiliani has many liberal-moderate aspects to him, which probably won't make him ideal for Republicans. Not that sure about Romney. Brownback and Hunter and all the others have no fame. The Republicans also had an extremely disliked president in power for 8 years, so they're already running with a handicap.
It's very likely for the Democrats to win if Bush keeps this up and the other Republicans don't do anything. If the Dems do win, Clinton is most likely to be their candidate, and so, yes, she would be the first female U.S. President.

God willing Hillary Clinton will never be president of the US. I have no problem with a female being president Hell we've had some men that did a damn lousy job of Being President . Hillary Clinton would be the absolute worst President in the history of the country. I think she would be even worse than Jimmy Peanuts and LBJ combined.

If people vote for Hillary just because she could be the first lady president. They would vote for Donald Duck.

Truly only time will tell. I have read so many negative post I would think not. However Then I think about President Bush with his disapproval ratings especially in the Iraq war however the war had been going on for over 20 months and he was voted in as president again.

contained in the 231-3 hundred and sixty 5 days historic past of u . s . a ., a woman should be the president for the first time! absolutely, she who managed the White residing house for 8 years because the first female will now rule the country with a motherly love and savoir-faire of a statesman! at very last, US has also lengthy previous in for authentic "empowerment of females"!

She has a lot of negatives against her, more than any other candidate in the race so far. If she can't overcome them then she'll just still be "the first lady US Senator" from NY.

I will vote for the person I see as the best candidate. Man Woman it doesn't matter. If Hillary is the best, even I (a conservative) would vote for her. Not likely, but possible.

I believe Hillary Clinton will prove to be an outstanding candidate for the Democratic party.I recognize she has high negatives, but she is more than capable of overcoming them when she gets out onto the campaign trail.Polls show her ahead of McCain if the election were held today and her position will only get stronger as people get to see her on the campaign trail.

I suppose it is possible, many things are. I would see it being tricky though despite what the early predictions/ polls say. She is a woman, has a very public history in the American eye, stayed with a husband who repeatedly cheated, has claimed Jewish ties before reshaping her image to run in New York...
Then of course there are those pantsuits. :(
