How can I connect the suicide rates in Wyoming to Garfield? This is for Sociology class. I mentioned that Garfield did not like Wyoming. He said a couple of times that it was a black hole in the untied states. I am trying who to set up to ask people form Wyoming if a imaginary orange cat said they did not existed would that make them want to commit suicide. How should I try to do this?

I don't think my Professor. Has much of a sense of humor. I live in New England so there are no real chances of me going there.

I live in Wyoming and go to the University of Wyoming. I did a report on the rate of suicide last year. It is pretty sad because Wyoming has one of the highest rates in the country. I did not find, or believe, there is any causal reltionship between Garfield and the high rate of suicide. Funny question though.

you could try to make a friend over the internet...like on chat rooms...and ask him or her...but actually...I don't think anyone would want to commit suicide because Garfield said this...The thing is that Garfield did not say it, but the director of Garfield...who is a person. So this might influence the mass media. I believe you should try to ask mass media companies (like tv companies, radio etc. from Wyoming) if they would find their being negatively ranked in a bestseller program as problematic as to commit suicide :D. i guess that should work at least a bit... good luck!
