Just before 2 days I chanced to read from a news paper that "In this world no one country could keep the democracy as India could". Writer stresses that all the other countries lost once, twice or more times after they got established the democracy in those countries. so he says if we search within 60 years, we can't find none but India which kept democray as well.
yes or not? plz describe........

That is rubbish. The United States has been a fully working democracy for well over 200 years now. In the United Kingdom, since 1688, the monarch has had less power than a president, so the country has in effect been a democracy for over 300 years. In Sweden and Switzerland, they also look back over long periods of democracy or effective democracy, much longer than in India.

Wars are'nt fought over democracy.Rather over territory.India has fought 3 wars with Pakistan over Kashmere. Some of the western democracies have lost wars(like France)but not thier identity as democratic nations.Others like the UK and US never lost a war or thier democratic govt.Of course there are many others. For over 3 centuries Swizerland has been a democracy, and has never once been attacked.Nor has she been involved in wars. She has remained totally neutral.
So the information you read is wrong. In fact she cannot compete with Switzerland.as she is 3 hundred years behind

Canada has had a democracy since it before it was even called Canada. Although it wasn't like modern day democracy, it was pretty darn close!

I am favor of yes...I mean complete democracy...

The following below are the signs:
1. They have a right to have bad odor.
2. They have a right to kill muslims.
3. They have a right to put down their leaders.
4. They have a right to everything bad...coz its not forbidden..
5. They have a right to disobey.
6. They have a right to worship different gods.

I mean they have a right which is not right to the other religion...and that is democracy to be free for everything which people wants...
