Learn from someone who knows how to do it but can teach it as well. Its a very easy dance to learn, once you get the steps (all 4 of them) you'll be able to do turns and all.
It's very simple and so much fun once you learn.
Have some fun when you learn.

I like BACHATA so very much!!! I did not know how to dance it, (i still don't), but everybody that I have dance with haven;t complaint yet!!! Ha,ha,ha.
It's easy, all you have to do is to feel the music and let the dancing partner lead you. Just follow his steps, feeling the music.
And before you know it you are a pro!!!
What I like of Bachata lyrics is, that it could be funny, tragic,
happy, playful and romantic!!!!!
So there is NO WAY one can not have any fun!!!
Just try to find a dancing partner that you feel comfortable with (make sure that he knows), and let him lead you!!!
I only know how to dance the old way, but there are so many beautiful steps to it. It is a pleasure to watch a couple who really know how to dance with the new steps!!!!
