The universe is everything. That's the simplest explanation I can think of. How can something be endless? It's simple if you think of numbers. What's the last number? There isn't a last number. You can always add another zero. You just keep going and going. Imagining a physical endlessness is a little more tricky. As humans we are used to seeing limits. We got walls and mountains and the sky. All depth markers for our world. Every night though we get a peek at something magical. The great beyond. We see stars but whats behind them? What's in that blackness between them? Somewhere out there is infinity and we're looking at it.

Addition - There have been no Apollo missions that went any further than the moon. Other than that the farthest unmanned craft to travel out into space would be the Voyager missions. I believe there were 2 craft and the oldest one is now sailing out into the Oort cloud, a vast region full of cometary bodies and icy objects. Its a region that is still within our sun's sphere of influence. On a cosmic scale however its still barely out of the ballpark. At Voyager speed it would probably take 100's of years to reach the nearest star. A snail's pace.

The universe IS finite if you categorize the universe as all physical matter. Space would still be infinite. You could maybe say that space is the blank slate upon which all things are written.

I'm gonna quote Stephen king (not hawking) he said in the dark tower some thing like this the finite can't understand the infinite, the size holds all.
the real trick is not the universe nor the origin of all the matter, I'm intrigued (i think u too) by the origin of space, the space contains the universe, so all the mater and energy are limited, but space might be unlimited if we could travel billions times faster than light we might see a point when all mater ends, and what comes later, nothing? what about a huge atom ready to explode and create another "universe" maybe we will find the past, the options are unlimited, and our mind is limited by flesh so we will never know the truth, we could only get a little peep show but never the truth. mail me if u want to discus any further doom98999@yahoo.com

Nothing is beyond the universe.
The universe is a finite entity.
It is big but at one time it did not exist and sometime in the future it will go out of existence
Some prominent people are always working on ways to explain it but it may be that it is and never will be completely Knowable.

Your call is Fahmy , a guy's call ...Why do you fake to be a female with a goddess person call .. are you able to describe that. once you're a Muslim you sound very shallow , except you're a Copt pretending to be a Muslim and is the reason issues ... i do no longer see what's the factor of you accusing mosques of hate speech , and then eluding to terrorism, except you attempt to accuse people who attend mosque of being terrorists that's genuinely a daft analogy. in case you want to hearken to hate speech track to Hayat channel (the christian one) that's stuffed with lies and insults approximately Muslims , and grew to become into regularly to blame for incitement of the hardship in Egypt. And heavily, you want us to have faith a internet site stated as "sandmonkey" that's a racial slur against Arabs, with obtrusive "Anti-Jihadi" checklist ... does this sound like a respected internet site to anybody. Why do no longer you examine the real information from Egyptian newspapers , and reference those for a metamorphosis. all your usa's newspapers say the guy who grew to become into the wrongdoer in the back of the violence grew to become into Christian member of Hosni Mubarak occasion , he's been arrested and could be placed on trial. The Church burning is tragic in spite of the undeniable fact that it grew to become into no longer intentionally performed and did no longer pop abruptly. you recognize on your usa there are a number of uneducated ignorant people who will respond to incitement in spite of religion from the two factors. And that's what happened as those issues have been develop steam and did no longer start up the day till now on the instant. 2 weeks in the past some Egyptian Christians attacked and killed a Muslim family contributors (mom, Father, & infant) because of the fact the girls named Salwa converted to Islam 8 years in the past and married this Muslim guy, and that they had a infant together. yet i do no longer see anybody speaking approximately that , that's a poor crime isn't it. The western media only comments it whilst Christians are the victims , yet whilst Muslims are the victims they do no longer care

Milky Way (our galaxy) is just one of the thousands or millions of galaxies in the universe. But I heard that an expedition (Apollo-i don't know the exact number) managed to go far beyond Milky Way. They said that they just tracked extreme darkness.

There's probably a super Universe, and a dimensional scene and probably a collapse from the Super Universe where the possibility of bigger vaster realities cease.

We have not, (obviously!), been given ALL the answers by the God who created us... nor have we been given infinite knowledge.
