Want to ensure good height for my son, given that protien is the building block for growth, is it safe to give my son whey protien together with his meals to ensure he gets enough protien for growth?

whey powder should not pose any problem for him. It probably doesnt have to be added to every meal, but as long as he has maybe 30-50g a day shoudl be good. Be sure to check the concentration of whey in the pwd: some are 15% some are 95%

People! People! Whey protien is used to get protein in your diet, BUT not used to for actual growth. If you want to make sure you want your child to grow, then I have one word for you.

C-A-L-C-I-U-M!

Calcium in foods like cheese and yogurt and milk has plenty of that growth building mineral. So you want your child to grow? Feed him at least 3 to 4 servings a day and in another decade, you should see the results.

It won't harm him any, why would it?

But why not let him get his protein requirements from a balanced diet? One doesn't need protein supplements in order to get an adequate amount.

Most people consume way more protein in a typical Western basil diet than they actually need anyway.
