I was 20 in 1981. I was in undergraduate school. While in college in a small town, I went to Bible studies, played tons of practical jokes on my friends (we all played practical jokes on each other at various times), laughed a lot, studied a little.... Enjoyed the laughter... regretted the "little" studying. Enjoyed snow in the winter (after too much heat in south Texas). Enjoyed gusty, gusty wind of flat West Texas... swept up tons of dust in dorm room (blown in through open windows).. watched General Hospital with the gals in dorm living room, every day at 1p.m. -- Luke and Laura and the Ice Princess were at the peak of their popularity... Thoroughly enjoyed the thrill of living in Tornado Alley... was always hoping to see a tornado or two... wish was granted... Rode my bike a lot... tried to study in Palo Duro Canyon, but was frequently distracted by the beauty, and rarely actually studied while there... worked at a pizza place back home during the summer... had a piece of my finger bone removed surgically that summer...

I was three hours away from home going to a juinor college in a teeny tiny town. I had my two best guy friends (one who I'd known since 15) and my exboyfriend and we did almost everything together.
I was into working out in the gym and running. My friends and I would drink on the weekends. We went swimming every Monday night and liked to play pool and eat out.
I had a really sweet roomate, who was a cute cowgirl chic. Those were the days.....

I was shy and naive. Tried to be courteous and honest as much as possible. Spent a lot of time outside on the farm....which we lost about the time I turned 20. Was a sad period....all better now.

I was just starting to go to raves. I moved in with some friends who were DJs and they made me start spinning jungle because at the time very few people did. I fell in love with it though so I can't be too upset ;) DJing was not my souls passion though. I always felt the best when I was dancing. I wish someone could spin my records for me so I could dance to them...
That was way back in 1995. I feel so old...

I weighed 60 pounds less! I dated and went out with friends and did what ever I wanted. Now I have a husband and kids I adore.
