chemically two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom which form an atomic bond through the sharing of electrons. hydrogen has one electron, oxygen has two more than it needs to be, but requires eight to be chemically stable. two hydrogen atoms having one electron each, an unstable state when each is separate and the electromagnetic charge is thus -1 since electrons are paired. thusly two hydrogen atoms combine with one oxygen to create a stable electromagnetic force of 0. in this case oxygen in the acid, while hydrogen is the base based on oxygen giving up two electrons and hydrogen receiving one electron each. water is therefore h2o, two hydrogen and one oxygen atoms, chemically stable, has a ph of 0, perfectly neutral. when the hydrogen and oxygen come together, it is a violent reaction and causes heat to be generated. to break the atoms apart requires heat to be added
hydrogen has an extremely low boiling point as does oxygen, water, the result of combining the oxygen and hydrogen raises the boiling point of each to 212f or100c. freezing occurs at 32f or 0c. water, when it goes from the liquid state to the solid state, does something weird. it expands at the point from liquid to solid, but shrinks when going from a solid to a liquid. that is why a full bottle of water will burst if allowed to freeze without leaving some space in the bottle to allow for the expansion of the water molecule

da boss is completely wrong... I am not going to bother correcting all his mistakes but... water is indeed composed of two hydrogen atoms that each share a sigma bond with a central oxygen.
