i believe the limit is 254.

Total number of USB devices including hubs and ports is 256. There are other limitations as to how many devices an individual port can support, but this is limited by many factors.

The theory is that it can support an infinite number. You can get multilpe port adapters that you can daisy chain. I have use up to 6 devices on a daisy chained USB connection and they worked fine.

The MAX number of devices you can connect (daisy chain) to a USB Hub is 127.

Infinate as long as you have a USB hub that will supply enough power...
