when an operation in mathematics ends up to a solution which is 0/0, they are called indeterminate.a value a/0(foa a not=0) is called undefined because it does not hold any value but the idea that it is equal to a very large number with no proper representation, hence infinity. while on the other hand, 0/0 does is of no particular value neither an idea of its value, hence indeterminate.

Undefined too. You cant define a division where the divisor is 0, the numerator doesnt really have anything to do with the definition of these number (or the laok of it)

Ana

PS1: Of course 0 can be divided. By any number that by 0. And the result will be 0. (quotient = 0 and remainder = 0 if you are working with integer division)

PS2: No, its not undetermined. Its undefined. Its not the same something that tends to 0 divided by something that tends to 0, whose limit can be calculated in a neighborhood of a due point a, EXCEPTED THE VERY POINT a, that 0/0. And there is not such thing as infinite/infinite but in specials sets of numbers, where infinit is considered a number. infinit/infinit or 0/0 are notations to mean "some expression that tends to (o or infinit) divided by some other expression that tends to". But I really disagree with them, these are WRONG and lead to mistakes and conceptual problems. ALWAYS WORK WITH "TENDS TO" and, please, avoid even using 0/0.

Definition: The assertion that r is a rational huge style potential that there is an integer p and a nonzero integer q such that r = p/q. for this reason, for each nonzero integer q, 0/q = 0 is a superb decision. The question as to 'undefined' is addressed by employing the extra effective question: what's a (genuine) huge style? The (genuine) numbers are in essence 'defined' by employing the 18 Axioms of the huge style equipment. interior this technique, divsion by employing 0 is undefined. A token jointly with a million/0 isn't a (genuine) huge style. by way of an abuse of notation, some authors will perceive one in each and every of those token with "a great decision at infinity", the lazy 8, it somewhat is undesirable grammer and undesirable arithmetic in the genuine huge style equipment.

0/0 would be called Indeterminate, meaning that the value cannot be determined.

in calculus when dealing with limits, you will get some limits such as 0/0, Infinity/Infinity, 0 times infinity, 0 to the 0 power, etc., These situations are all called indeterminate, and in such problems you need to use special methods, such as L'hopital's rule, to find the answer.

0 itself is nothing, so it cannot divided.

36/0 is undefined, because ___ * 0 cannot be 36, as anything times 0 is 0.

The same for 0, only that it's nothing.
