This war is a spiritual war, but mostly for differing Islamic sects. Sectarian violence is being waged between Sunnis & Shias, who have long hated one another. In Iraq, 80% of the population is Shiite. Saddam was a Sunni, and while in power waged killing campaigns against the majority Shiites. Now the Shiites want total power & revenge for what grief Saddam put them through for the past 30 years. Christians are looked upon as infidels and can be subject to death. There is little or no tolerance for one another's faiths in Iraq, Iran or Saudi Arabia. That's the major problems now. Saddam ruled with an iron fist. Now that he's gone it is a free-for-all, all out civil war. America opened a pandora's box that has been locked for decades. As for God, I don't think He would be pleased with anyone's behavior. Are you?
BOBBY LEE-It seems you must be the real Robert E. Lee since I've read all your quotes at the Lee-Custis mansion in Arlington, either that or you are using them without acknowledging your sources.

Last time I tried to speak for God, I was wrong. So, I try to avoid that.
However, when a person breaks the terms of an agreement 17 times and thumbs his nose at multiple UN resolutions that included an allowance for military force to be used to insure compliance, sometimes you have to follow-up on your threats and make them real to someone. Perhaps Saddam should not have lied and deceived us. He would probably still be in power.

I am not sure exactly what you are asking. But I do know that God dislikes war and violence. And God wants his children to live in peace, love one another, and be kind to each other.

Your English isn't that bad..but you need to work on your grammar.
No, the war is not a sin...
I'm sure God would be pleased if everyone stopped killing...Especially those who claim to do it in his name....
(Can you say Muslim Extremists?)

First off... killing is wrong, diplomacy good, correct ?
Bible... Christian bible ? Is that about that "turn the other check" guy named Jesus ?
I think banning religion might please God...
Yes, ... finally getting all these pretenders and fake prophets who claim to know what a god would want of us to stop making wars that kill people and lead to great sorrows would be a true and godly blessing.

Holyfire have you ever read the Bible and seen how many wars are fought in the Old Testament? Many of them instigated by God.

Christians! Its religion that started all this mess. Violence and killing is bad no matter who is doing it! Who gave us the right to go there and bomb the hell out of a country killng thousands of innocent people. It was for money and it had nothing to do with goodness. God (or the univeral energy) just works better if we love each other. Thts terrific that we got rid of Saddam but he has been dealt with finito.

If war is sin then not defending and allowing your own citizens to die is a bigger sin.

It is well that war is so terrible — otherwise we should grow too fond of it.
