One handed backhand is so rare these days. I can only name a few that are/were good.
Now - Roger and Justine.
80s and 90s
Men: McEnroe, Lendl, Becker, Edberg, Sampras.

Richard Gasquet. He has the most beautiful one handed backhand I have ever seen. It is by far the best part of his game as well. His backhand is even better than Federer's. Federer tends to have trouble controlling his backhand but Gasquet's is always spot on. It looks completely effortless.

some of the answers were extremely stupid, because they listed people who have two-handed backhands!
Simple answers, Roger Federer and Henin-Hardenne. however Mikhail Youhzny is catching up to federer's backhand.

Federer, Robredo, Haas, Justine. If Pete Sampras had any backhand to speak of, he would have won 70 grand slam singles titles.

'Best' means one-that is simple English. And that is Roger Federer in mens' tennis. And Justin Henin in womens' tennis.
