Yes, masses get it wrong and tried to assimilate the American/Indian into Christian beliefs until Jim Thorpe proved them wrong and the Anglos couldn't handle it. People need some symbol, something to believe in. But a belief is not good enough for people and I hope to improve Social Justice and Social Contract so people have one more crutch to stand on an religious belief will go down, locks will come off, and violence will go down.

I disagree. However, it all boils down to a person's belief. All religions seem to have the same goal of making a betterment of a person's quality in life. Being a free spirit person, you may like to explore the teachings of the different religions you can get in touch with and feel it yourself what is beneficial to you right now and beyond.

I think some religions have been fabricated . But I also think there is a truth to some of them. Nearly all of the religions in our world today believe in a higher power, and they believe it doing good in the world and not bad. They are nearly all based along the same lines.

not really. Nowadays there are plenty of mental religios people, but back in primitive age religion was critical to holding the society together, enforcing norms of bevior, safety rules, unity in the face of military invasion.

Now that we have central government, academic system, mass media and psychoanalysts, religion became more of a hobby.

No, it isn't just that.
It is a way of surviving the world. It is spirituality and it is hard to survive without that. It is lessons learned and passed on to you so that you don't have to learn the hard way. It is a way of life.
