I have been a powerseller from 2000 up until my indefinet suspension. 100% feedback with never a dispute filed against me through ebay. I had squaretrade, paypal and was ID verified.
One day out of the blue, I recieved notification that my account has been suspended indefinetly for being linked to another users account. After many emails and appeals sent through thier useless contact method, I was able to find the user ID that they linked me to. This person is a relative whom lives in a totaly different household. He never logged in from my house. His bank account, credit card, paypal address ect.. had nothing to do with me! His last name is not even the same as mine but is only similar! They will not respond to my emails or appeals even though I am clearly mentioning that I have evidence that this person is not directly linked to me. At the time I was suspended, ebay was the only source of income I had. I had to sell my house, and car because my income changed. What can I do? Anyone

They never sent me that. What did you say or do to get that type of response?

Ebay and Paypal are notorious for their unforgiving methods and absolutely will not investigate to ensure that an innocent person is being persecuted by them.

Bottom line is that they own the sites and can suspend or reject anyone they wish for any reason or for no reason at all. There is no appeal.

They did that to me too and I have no idea who the person that I am linked to is.

They sent me the following procedure to get my account reinstated. Personally, I refuse to do it because I do not want to send them the personal information that they want.

How to Reinstate Your Account
At this point, you can request to have your account reinstated. To do so, please complete these steps:

1. Read the eBay User Agreement. Simply go to:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/png-user.html

2. Print out a copy of the Request for Reinstatement form. Simply go to:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/poisec9reinstform.html

3. Fill out all the fields in the Request for Reinstatement form. If you
leave any fields blank, we will not be able to process your request.

4. Resolve any issues related to the suspension of the associated account. To request information, please reply to the Suspension Notice emailed to that account. If you can't access the Suspension Notice, follow these steps:
a. Click the "Help" tab located at the top of most eBay pages.
b. Click the "Account Information and Billing Overview" link. c. Click the "Suspended Account" link.
d. Click the "Contact us" link and follow the instructions.

5. Fax the following documents to 1-877-349-1798 to the attention of Abusing eBay Appeals: - A letter stating that you have read and understand the eBay User Agreement
- A copy of your driver's license or other government-issued ID that shows your name and address
- A copy of a recent credit card statement, bank statement, or utility bill statement clearly showing your billing address. For security reasons, please black out your account numbers.
- A completed copy of the Request for Reinstatement form.

Please allow 48 to 72 hours for your request to be processed. As soon as
we've reviewed your case, we will notify you of our decision by email.

EDIT: In response to your additional comment, I contacted them just as you did and, after a couple of tries, they sent me that information and the name of the person I am linked to. My message to them was simply, "why is my account suspended? how can I resolve this?". I guess if you want to keep trying to contact someone all you can do is keep trying to email their customer support because the bastards don't even make a phone number available.
