Really, no there aren't. You need some pretty technical equipment and a certain level of expertise to analyze DNA at anything more than a superficial level.

let's see....
-you would need restriction enzymes and buffers (pretty expensive, about $200 for 5 microliters...and you'll need several of them...3 at the very minimum).
-you'll need a micropipet and some sterile pipet tips (also pretty expensive)
-you'll need a DNA extraction kit (you can get these from Promega or Quiagen...but again...they're not cheap).
-you'll need a centrifuge (again...pretty expensive equipment...are we seeing a trend here??)
-you'll need some electrophoresis equipment (you guessed it...pretty expensive stuff)
-you'll need stuff to make your gel--Buffer, agar, well combs...(this surprisingly won't be that expensive)
-and you'll need someone who knows what they're doing (and unless you know someone, or can do it yourself...this isn't going to be cheap either.)--not to mention, if they do it incorrectly you could have to re-buy some of this stuff again...

yeah, it would be cheaper just to have a company do it for you.
