Having been a Hiring Manager, I will tell you that nothing has ever impressed me more than the applicants Honesty. An honest person shows integrity in themselves, and respect for a potential company that they want to work for. Never lie in an interview, if asked why you left, be upfront about why you no longer have the job with a previous employer. I have a lot respect for an interviewee that is honest on the application and in person.

I don't think it will be a turn off, if you were fired for a certain reason: lateness, sloppy work, etc... or if it was for the opposite like ethics then for me no... I think though, and depending on the situation, that if asked you be up front about it, with a short and simple explanation. Make all negative happenings positive... Like I was fired for X reason and I plan on correcting that by______________.

Good Luck

In case you have a good certificate of experience from previous employer who fired you, I do not think you should reveal to your next employer.

You should definitely be up front about it, if asked. If they don't ask you, don't bring it up. Most people have been fired once. I doubt that if you're the person they're looking for, they'd hold it aginst you. Good luck.
