Another Kobe Hater!! Stop with these ******* questions already!! Wah wah wah, Kobe did it on purpose, wah wah wah!!! Shut the **** up! Everybody's bitchin about how Kobe did it on purpose. How do you all know he did it on purpose. If you haven't played basketball before, you make those kind of reactions when getting hit while shooting. I play for my Varsity team and I know what it's like dip shits! When you get hit on the arm or hand, you'll react so the officials will hopefully call a foul. Obviously you haven't played an organized game of basketball becuase these types of things happen all the time. And Kobe didn't do it on purpose. So everybody shut up already. Oh and by the way, it's spelt unacceptable behavior, not unexpectable. Are you sure you're 22 because you've got some poor grammar. Oh, and how is it unacceptable, like the girl below me mentioned, Kobe went over to see if Manu was alright after the flail/foul. How can that be unacceptable behavior, it was an accident.

You say you know he did it on purpose, How? Did he tell you he did? Your statement shows you are stupid. If the NBA had not suspend Kobe it would not be a big deal, just like it was not a big deal and that's why you heard no one (ESPN, FOX, etc) talking about it, because no one thought he did it on purpose, not even the Spurs. If you look at tape you can see Kobe went over to the player , but he had to go to the bench because time out was called, he checked with Tim and the player to see if he was okay. It was something that happen and will always happen in basketball when in the act of shooting, etc. Think before you speak next time......I see you are another Kobe Hater, but you would have a different out look if it was another player instead of Kobe and I think the other player would not have gotten suspended

Im a Spurs fan, so this is probably a boost for me.

First of all, I dont hate Kobe, and I dont like him either, but that foul was completely UNINTENTIONAL. When he shot the ball and knew that he got blocked, he flailed his arms, wanting to fish that foul. Unfortunately, Manu got hit hard.

The sure foul right there was Kobe running over Robert Horry at the final seconds. He even admitted that he "didn't want to give Rob a clean look, and it was a foul".

Past is past, Spurs won, Kobe got fined and suspended, everything's still good in the NBA.

Dude I can tell with what you just said that you must watch a lot of basketball....what you don't do is play it. Me being a player of the game, Kobe was simply going for the ball....you think that it those .001 seconds kobe had after shooting the ball...he thought to himself, im going to reach my hand back and smack mano in the face....are you KIDDING ME??? trust me...i dont like kobe is much as the last guy....but dude that was completely an accident

Kobe did not do it on purpose, with all that was going on in the final seconds it just seems odd that he would hit Manu intentionally. Manu doesn't think he did it intentionally. I know people don't really like Kobe but....he is your 07 MVP so far in my opinion. Like him or not...dude has mad, insane, game. Hey anybody heard from that overweight center in Miami errrrrr Miami Cop? Yeah me either. Kobe is better than Officer O'Neal.

Give me a friggin' break. That was nothing. It's a joke that the NBA League Office has nothing better to do than make something out of nothing. If that hadn't have been a nationally televised game they wouldn't have done sh*t! As for whether or not he did it purposely: WHO CARES! Basketball is a physical game, sh*t happens, eyes get poked, guys get tripped, bodies fly. There's nothing I loved more than seeing Abdul-Jabbar come down with a rebound with his elbows swinging, claiming his space, as everyone got the hell out of his way. It was a thing of beauty! The NBA is getting to be a puss league of 3-point shooting girls. Hell, It won't be long 'til some WNBA chick with a great outside shot gets
signed! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?

Whoever said he wasnt sorry about, you must not have seen the game, after he realized he was down on the ground he went over to make sure he was alright. They both agreed it was an accident as Manu also told the press that it was an accident.. So stop hating on Kobe because you know he is one of the better players in the NBA.

I do not think that he did that on purpose. Things like this happen all the time in the NBA, and the only reason many people noticed it was because he got suspended for it.

there's absolutely no way he did that on purpose. he hit ginobli in the face almost simultaneously with the shot block. there's no way to react to something that fast. basketball is a sport where there is a lot of contact in some situations. it's just part of the game. ginobli has probly been hit in the face harder than that by his girlfriend.
