I have been on the pills for three months now. I have a daughter that is eight month old. When I started the green pills. I always start cramping. I always cramp that week.

First time, I started on the wednesday. I start a new set of one week of pills on Sundays. The last time I started I started on Tuesday and It's tuesday now. It has been two days since I started on Sunday. This is my first time on the pill. Before I I got prangant, I was on the shot.

During the last month, there were times that I forgot to take the pill at the time. I'm just wondering if the pill will do this to a person or what, or if I'm am?

It could be that you need to try a different birth control pill, there are a couple different formulations. Maybe this one just doesn't agree with your body. My sister started on bcp's around age 13 or so to help with severe menstral cramping, now she is on the shot and has no problems since she doesn't get a period.
I started on bcp's for hormone therapy right after I met my now husband. I was taking Diane 21 at first and changed drug coverage, one that wasn't going to cover that bcp so after I had my son I started on Alesse. I didn't find any difference between them, but someone else might. If you are still having problems you should go back and speak with your dr, just let him/her know what's going on and how you are feeling. Be clear about your reasons.

You should be starting on the sunday or at least the same day of the wek every month, they are designed to work that way.

I have an 8 month old and I've been on various birth control pills since he was 4 months old. One pack I started made me have a period in the middle of the month. The next month, I didn't have one. Your body is crazy after pregnancy and takes a while to get back into the groove even with taking pills.
It especially gets confused if you forget to take pills or if you are changing from one brand to the other.
Just make sure to take them at the same time every day - faithfully and you will be protected.

I don't remember the pill causing cramping for me. But I do remember the first year after my son was born having to deal with sever cramping for the first time. It was my body trying to get back to "normal." Everything seemed to take care of itself when he was about a year old. So, it might just be you - not the pill.

you shouldnt keep takin the birth control pills medicans if you already had been pregrnated before so i think you should stop there and call youre doctor first and talk to him or her and see what youre doctor will says about you should use the shot or keep useing the pills. i once use them when i went to my parenthood center and they do gave you the different pills that wil help you keep upadated when and what days you should take the medicans .but you shouldnt never skip youre days you had to use them . and the way you can just keep remember to use them by write down the time and days you did ated one by writting everything down in a book or into youre diary book that you always keep the importment stuffs you cant forget to do next day .

There are people who don't agree with the pill. I had to go through several types before I settled with the ones I take now. Talk to your gyno.
