No. Jones was underperforming for what he was costing the team and he was having a hard time finding his place in the Grizzlies new up-tempo system. The Grizzlies like the play of more athletic players such as Warrick or Gay, which better suits their running style. The real rebuilding will start when/if the Grizzlies get rid of Gasol.

Yeah, I definitely think this is the first sign of a type of rebuilding process for them. By getting rid of Eddie Jones, they're starting to play and use their young talent and developing them right now. And when they trade Gasol, they'll probably get a star and some other young prospects. Hopefully they can get some good young talent for their rebuilding. Look for them in the lottery, they'll probably pick up some good talent in the upcomig draft.

Yes. The next thing they'll do is trade Pau Gasol. It's sad but to be brutally honest, memphis can't win with gasol. It's time to rebuild with milke miller as the franchise player.

No. They got rid of him because he's only shooting 37.7% from the floor and averaged only 5.6 points per game this season. Why play him over a kid? Makes no sense.

sort of. eddie makes alot of money and is very unproductive this season.
if they trade pau then you can call it a rebuilding process. and if they get some draft picks they can become very good very fast. im going to assume that they get a top 3 pick in this years great draft. and i hear rumors with the celtics and if they can get bostons pick then watch out for the griz they will be picking 1 and 2. which means oden and durant. and if oden stays in school then its durant and their choice of noah or brandan wright. and they already have rudy gay and kyle lowry. they can be very good.

They are building the team around warrik and gay....
Eddie Jones was an expendable assett who wasn't doing anything for the team.
