A couple of weeks ago there was a big ice storm in our area. While leaving walmart, a guy in the truck next to me offered to help scrape my windows. They were cleared off in half the time and I was on my way quickly thanks to the kindness of a stranger.

Let me stay with them for a few weeks after my Ex-Spouse (and it is more than 13 years AFTER the divorce was Finalized) once again BURGLARIZED my HOME ... to relax, to unwind (in safety), and de-stress. They did not want anything in return .. just to see me have a break from having to deal with the damage, destruction, and property loss.

I was coming out of target, and the boxes were big and heavy and I barely made it to my car. I was trying to load it in the car, when a couple just came up to me and offered to help. I was so surprised, usually people just see you struggling and continue on, but these two just helped me. I said thanks like a million times.

My mother's lifestyle and attitudes allowed me to learn from my own mistakes in my own time in my own way and NOTHING else in my life has been more effective or as impactful as being my mother's daughter. (Other than being a parent and grand parent of course)
