Wait a minute - grass is alright in small amounts and not everyday. Tame rabbits were breed to be a pet - usually in a cage, and in this process they ate mainly pellets, this has all the nutrients they need. A wild rabbit is still WILD and grass is necessary in their diet. A tame rabbitt will get the runs and it will cause lots and lots of recovery. They are breed to be a pet and the feed you purchase is what they need. It is alright to treat them to some grass once in awhile as well as other things.

It will only harm your rabbit if you don't contain him well and he stands a chance of escaping onto your busy street, or if you use any kind of chemical on your lawn, especially weed killer. If you know for sure you have "clean" grass in that respect, the perceived pollution from passing traffic will be practically non-existent given rain and the fact that grass grows, gets cut and regrows all the time.
Contain your bunny well, or grow a patch of grass specifically for pulling out and feeding him.

Grass is ok for a rabbit if there are no pesticides on it. I had a rabbit for 9 years and let her run around the backyard with no cage, she ate whatever she wanted in addition to her rabbit food.

just dont risk feeding your rabbit with the grass in your back yard. try to investigar\te if the grass has stunted growth of if the their leaves are reddish or pale green with whittish streaks which isthhe indication of nitrate and lead
contamination dont do it.

No, it's fine. But rabbits eat all sorts of stuff- basically almost any natural food stuff (vegetables, fruit, bread). They don't like potato skins though

I agree with WRF 100%. It is ok in small amounts, but too much will give your rabbit diahrrea.

If your building was built before 1960, there could be lead contamination in the soil. If I were you I wouldn't do it.
