if its slimy and green its possible that you are having algal growth .algae is very small plants found in water bodies .algae is found where there is chances for stagnation and is always moist .it spreads very fast and can become unpleasant .clean thoroughly and keep inside dry, if possible open for air circulation for some hours and then you can use .i am not sure is there is any cleaning solution for algal prevention in markets.all the best

Sounds like algae like most mentioned. Are you using bottled purified drinking water or are you just filling it out of your own tap. Well it needs to be 100% purified. Also the cooler should be cleaned well for each bottle change. There should be a drain on the back. Run bleach or vinegar through the system followed by a gallon of fresh water to rinse it all out. Then put a fresh bottle of water on it.

it sounds like algae growth. Try flushing the cooler with a strong salt water solution. If you are really worried about it you could flush it out with bleach or something similar but make sure you rinse it out very thoroughly before using it again

Yeah. Take it apart the best you can, wash with soap and water. Run vinegar through the system. rinse.
Basically it's algae. Try ro keep the water system away from the windows or harsh light.

It's either corroding Copper or Algae.

IT MIGHT BE MOLD!!!TRY RUNNING SOME BLEACH THROUGH IT!!! SHOULD DO THAT ANYWAYS TO CUT BACK ON GERMS!!!
