Qualifier: i'm on the instant. a number of those comparable human beings additionally say that the Earth is barely 6,000 years previous, that guy walked alongside dinosaurs, that evolution never happened (and is an evil thought as nicely). Your answer is "some each and every physique is ignorant". they actually do no longer understand any further valuable. I continually giggle as quickly as I hear somebody attempting to furnish a "treatment" for homosexuality. Its a comedian tale, yet regrettably its a tragic comedian tale because of the fact it exposes the lack of understanding of the human beings that have faith this nonsense genuinely works. Have a physically powerful day.

I think the problem is with self righteousness on both sides. Some 'hetros' come in with an attitude that all they want to do is antagonize, judge and be cruel. They're not interested in debating an issue or 'hearing the other other side of the story' They (to use a similar phrase to you) are who they are. Some people will respond out of annoyance that YET again someone has come into their space and passed judgement and sometimes it can be a little pathetic.

I agree that we're INCREDIBLY unlikely to be changing any hearts or minds of the askers here, but at the same time there's
A)That long-shot possibility and
B)Other people who stumble into the topic silently and never leave a comment, but who might read something that will change THEIR mind / heart.
I generally don't feel like putting up with people, but every now and then I can't help myself.

I think some of these bigots need to hear fromt he gay community how hurtful it is to judge us based on false info they hear from their families and friends. I think that most of them just hear enough inaccurate negative stuff about gay people to reject us wholesale. They have the mentality of "who cares, I ain't gay". But of course as you've mentioned, there are the ones that simply hate the glbt community for no reason whatsoever... they just don't care about stuff.

Normal? I don't want to be "normal". Being normal is boring.
I don't care if anybody accepts me. I'm happy as I am. I don't need anyone's approval. I don't need anyone's validation. They can all think I'm weird, I don't care in the least. It's not MY problem, I'M not the one bothered by it!

Trying to convince someone is never pathetic. Apologizing as if you were wrong would be. Why are you trying to make people who are trying to communicate the truth about themselves feel wrong?

Um... I value everyone as a person with feelings, motivations, desires.. all those human things. I accept the belief that is a choice or a lifestyle. How you live is your perogative.
I do not believe that homosexuality and alternate sexualites fit into God's desire for how he wants us to live as Christians. But that consideration of the LIFESTYLE, not the PERSON is the only "nonacceptance" you will find with me. But then again, I'm not walking around preaching or attempting judging all the time either.
It's ludacrous to devalue a person's existence based on one decision. You really shouldnt profile people based on your agnst.

Most of us don't try to convince them we are normal, we are just trying to make them see we aren't as hostile as they think we are.
Yes it would be a waste of time and energy to try and convince those few Christians that believe we are the a ss end of society into thinking that we are normal, but we do need them to understand we arent sex driven maniacs or child molesters.

You don't have to convince me of anything. You're probably more normal than me. Ignore them & be happy. Hopefully if you live in the US you'll be able to marry next year.
