Hayao Miyazaki has some great movies but I cant help it but feel that they have the same characters and plots. The reason why they are so good is because they are so innocent. The hero's are usually kids, younger kids, ones that shouldn't even be crossing the streets by themselves much less embarking on a epic adventure.
Don't take it the wrong way, I think his movies are great just a little repetitive.
Princess Mononoke was a little different but by far the best.
Then Spirited Away.

Those are both great films by Miyazaki. Princess Mononoke was also good, but somehow I did not like it as much as Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. I have not seen any of his other films, but plan on it soon.
If you like Miyazaki, have you seen any of Makoto Shinkai films? "The Place Promised in our Early Days" is really good, as is "Voices of a Distant Star".

I've only watched one of his movies which was spirited away and it was very nice and entertaining.the animation was so cool.love it!
