I think music is sounding worse when played through some decent speakers because people are creating music to be played through factory car stereos or iPods. It's not that songs are necessarily getting worse, it's that the process behind the songs are getting too picky on where people are going to listen to them. The music industry is trying to please everyone, when they should be trying to make good sounding music come out of some decent speakers.

all music is definitely getting worse. music used to be the truest form of self expression. now it is all about how much money can be made.
