In oregon people are trying to pass that law. I think the age was 18. What do you think? I think it's a good idea, uv rays can cause so much damage and can be permenent. You can't get a tattoo until your 18 and that's permenent as well.

Correction, you can't get a tattoo without your parents concent (in most states) unless you are over 18.

Tanning beds are slightly harmful, provided propper steps are taken (i.e. always wearing eye protection, limitting tanning sessions to no more than 10 minutes at a time, etc). There should be a minimum age to use tanning equipment, (why does a 3 year old need a tan that badly?) but I would say 15 years old is reasonable if parental concent is given. Perhaps the state should require warnings posted in the tanning booth warning of the health risks involved.

Sure 18 sounds about right, however my step sister goes and she is only 15 her mom got here minutes last christmas and now she is addicted.
