Any time that you have unprotected sex, you can conceive. Some times are less likely than other, but you have no idea of when that may be.

Having unprotected sex is playing Russian Roulette with parenthood AND STD's.

You sound young so I'm going to assume you DON'T want to be pregnant... ANY time you have unprotected sex it is possible you could get pregnant from it. It is a myth that you can't get pregnant during your period - you can. So wise up and use a condom or at least go on the pill, a combination of both is best. If you don't have protection, don't do it. Simple as that. If you're really worried go to a family planning clinic or something and get a pregnancy test.

You can get pregnant any time that liquids from the penis enter the vagina or contact the skin near it. Women have gotten pregnant from sexual intercourse during their period.

The most effective kind of temporary birth control is BC pills or patches but it is not 100% effective. The best way to have sex and reduce the chance of getting infected with an STD is the condom but their effectiveness is only in the 80% range for reducing both the chance of getting pregnant or catching a STD.

You can get pregnant anytime you have unprotected sex. A woman ovulates only once a month(usually day 14-17 of a 28 day cycle). To fertilize, the sperm have to reach the egg. but the sperm can live inside your body for up to 5 days. So if you have a shorter cycle, you could ovulate within that period and bam, that's all it takes. If you don't want to be pregnant, don't take the risk, plain and simple.
