Does that history constitute petty crimes or major crimes? Is it possible for the poor persons to commit major crimes?

They have no money to bribe the police.

Its a natural process. Poor people don't have money for education, so they drop out from school, get into bad company and start thier lives, living on the street and starting to do little robberies and later they form gangs and get into big time crime. But even rich kids are also into crime to get a kick out of life or to meet their drinking and drug habit demands.
