I love reading...adventure, romance, fantasy, anything that is somewhat easy to get into. I also love novels set in the medieval era. Or anything! I love getting into a good book, maybe just name some of your favorites :)

I also love to read. Here are some of my favorites or some good books I've read in the descriptions you put.

Cameron Dokey's "Beauty Sleep", "Golden", "The Story Teller's Daughter". "Midnight Pearls" or "The Scarlet Moon" by Debbie Vigue.
"A Great and Terrible Beauty" and "Rebel Angels" By Libba Bray. Tamora Pierces Circle Quartets. You should try some different re-tellings of King Arthurs time. I can't remember the authors but theres a few such as "I Am Morgan Lee Fay", and "I am Mordered" also "Sword of the Rightful King".
I reacently read a fabulous book that's a modern day retelling of the fairy tale Snow White and Red Rose called "The Shadow of the Bear" by Regina Doman. The sequel "Black As Night" a retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was also great. I'll include the link to that site below.
Another good book is "The Goose Girl"
"The Witch of Blackbird Pond" is really good too. Ummmm..... geez I know I've read so many other great books but I can't think of anymore for now. I hope you'll find something good from the suggestions above!

I like going through Amazon and finding $10 book treasures, then buying them in sets of 5. It's a good way to control your book budget, and still get some really great unknown authors. Plus, then amazon will recommend books similar to the one you bought. If you review books there enough, you come up with some great stuff. Also, along the lines of knights and princesses, for a lower (but fun) reading level-- try Tamora Pierce, or Patricia Wrede's series.

I just grabbed a book I loved off Amazon. It's bizarrely almost every one of those genres you mentioned except for it takes place now. If Kisses Were Bullets, by HX Sin.

If you love romance then you have to read Gone with the wind. Its a classic and you have no idea what you're missing out on. Rhett, one of the main characters is to die for. I promise you will not end the book without a tear in your eye. But if you have already read Gone With The Wind, jump into Scarlett the sequel. That book is amazing! The authors are great, trust me.

Let me know a few of my favorite ones first:
1. In the Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco
2. Burmese Days by George Orwell
3. The Cairo Trilogy by Naguib Mahfouz
4. The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark
5. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, etc.
In fact these are not in the list I'd tell you later and I don't mean I read all of those, it's a matter of time and preference.
However, please visit the following web site to see those 100 titles as listed for some familiar authors to read and enjoy.

i would recommend Tamora Pierces books, she writes about heroines And has about 24 books in print.. Mainly her "Song of the Lioness" quartet. It is about a girl who wants to the first female knight in over 200 years.

It is a book that is very easy to get into. It has adventure, romance(in later books.). It is a fantasy book and very easy to get into as it was written for young teenage girls, but I still love reading it, and i'm 27.

Heres, whats written on the back of the first book.
Denying her magical roots and disguised as a boy, Alanna strives to achieve her ultimate ambition. To become a knight.
Her dertimnation wins her powerful friends in the palace. But court life holds un expected dangers.
Something about the powerful magician Duke Roger of Conte, terrifies Alanna. Soon she will face a challenge to test all her skills......

Here is Tamora Pierces website....... www.tamorapierce.com

I have taken a recent liking to "Jodi Picoult." I have read 3 of her books and am currently enjoying a 4th. She explores somewhat controversial issues, however manages to do it in a sensitive and encapturing way.

I also enjoy "Danielle Steel." I have read (and own) over 25 of her novels. My personal fave is "His Bright Light" which is the true story of the life and death of her son Nick. A very touching recap of his short life.

I also recomend "April Fools Day", by "Bryce Courtenay" which is the story of his son Damon and his fight with hemoaphelia.

Anything by "Patricia Cornwell" is also worth a look into.

And finally, you can't go past "The Chronicles of Narnia", by CS Lewis. An absolutley captivating read!!

Enjoy!!!

Have you heard of the Fire and Ice series by
George R. Martin? It starts with "A Game of Thrones". I enjoyed "Eragon" and "Elder", too.
Dune by Frank Herbert.

I have read the first three of the Martin books since Christmas. It takes a few chapters to get the characters going and then it is too hard to put down!
