I was cleaning the dashboard of my car with Armor-all vinyl,rubber, plastic, etc. protectant, when I spotted my Oakley Half-Jackets in the glove box. I removed the lenses and proceeded to apply & rub some of the armor-all solution on the frames and rubber pieces.
Will this help keep the frames and rubber pieces from premature wear & tear?

I use to use Armor All on my car all the time, but I stop using it because if you stop using it for a while everything starts to crack.... Tires, Dash everything started cracking.

I've always questioned the claims of those protectants to do anything other than filter a little sunlight, which they seem to be quite good at. Will it extend the life of you frames, try it and see.

Even if it doesn't make them last an extra 50 years, it'll sure shine them up! That alone is worth the effort.
