I know when you use a HPT it says not to read your results after 10 minutes, why?

Why is this not accurate?

If you do not read the results within the alloted time this causes an evaporation line which usually causes false positives. Also, another reason for a false positive if you are recieving fertility treatments containing hcg. False negatives are generally caused when the test is taken to soon or not enough hcg is detected in your system.
