I love the smell of NICE hotels. I have come to believe that it is the indoor pools that give them the scent. Maybe the cleaners. I'm talking about NICE hotels, not run down motels that smell like smoke and dirt. Anyone know the reason they smell the way they do? And if so is it something I can buy?

If you want to duplicate the scents in the finer hotels, call a couple you have stayed in and ask them for their supplier of cleaning products. Then buy your own and use them in your home.

It is probably a combination of what they spray in the air, what they use to clean the place, chemicals evaporating from the Capet, paint, wall coverings, and curtains, and yes the chlorine from the pool and hot tub.

The cheaper motels usually have more smokers. Smokers stink and are usually poor people. In Las Vegas, go to the Bellagio, Venetian or the Wynn. They smell ok. Less smokers because they are less stupid if they have more money.
