It has been said that marijuana can cause a reduction in sperm count and/or lazy swimmers (the semen comes out but they don't go too far).
Does this mean that your boyfriend can't get you pregnant, no. Does this mean it could be more difficult to get you pregnant, possibly. It is not a "fact" that marijuana usage can cause empodence or sexual disfunction. Studies have been unclear for various reasons. Some are because researches can not accurately prove the amount of time that marijuana most affects the male reproductive system. So taking a puff and having sex versus smoking at night and having sex in the morning could have two seperate outcomes.
Also, method of inhalation to the body could affect these studies. I don't know if I believe them myself because I feel that sometimes bonefide medical facts can be exaggerated due to cultural influences (ie. masterbation can make you go blind).
One fact that is true is that marijuana slows you down. It looks cool to some but it puts a damper on motivation like no bodies business. Here is a question, does your boyfriend want sex half the time? Is he functioning normally sexually? That I think would be a more pressing issue.

I swear don't you know anything? If I had a dollar for every time some one asked this I'd be rich. first off you had unprotected sex. 1 in 4 sexually active teens has an STD do you really want to go with out protection and get HPV or Herpes? Secondly YES YOU CAN GET PREGNANT IF YOU DON'T USE PROTECTION!!!!! Pulling out isn't some method of birth control a condom is Birth control is. Try it sometime. Seriously if half the teens in America had a brain and weren't just taught abstinence but the whole truth about STD's then maybe there'd be less of them and less abortions and unwanted pregnancies. My boyfriend smokes alot of pot, and has for many years, and we have created 2 beautiful children. And to some people who have answered, just because someone smokes pot doesn't make them a bad person, especially not a bad parent. My boyfriend is the best father that I have ever seen, and he does everything for us. I'm sure that some people are deadbeats, but you shouldn't judge a person because of their habits.

Pot is meant to effect the sperm. I have seen no evidence of this as all the people I know that have smoked pot have kids easily. My boyfriend used to smoke pot and I fell pregnant the second time we did it!!

It is very possible marjuana usage can affect the sperm count but I know a guy in high school who was a HUGE pot head and he has 6 kids (all by different girls of course). So who knows.

no, if the sperm is healthy and youre fertile ,definitely youll get preggy, By the way if you want to start a family make you bf, stop smoking weeds be responsible, or better say break with him, drugs wont do good relationships!
