And take into consideration who the Colts play in a season. Think of the division they are in and the conference. Look at who each team played. Those teams records and make an educated decision on who will win Sunday. Dont say Bears are going to kick butt or Colts are going to blow them out. Take a look then answer. I have done the research on everything and the Colts do come out on top. The research shows the Colts play a tougher schedule and have beat better teams. So Im going with the Colts. So all those gamblers the stats are with the Colts.

chazohio I did all the homework. The Bears lost games are what took them out of it the most. They lost to the Miami Dolphins and Green Bay Packers. And when they did play a good team like New England they lost. A lot of people thought the Bears shouldve had a better record because of the division they play in. They lost to Green Bay. Hey Im biased here I just call it the way the stats do.

See I wanted this to be civil. Not the Bears are going to kick the Colts A$% on Sunday. I was just wondering if anyone had any reasons why Chicago might win. Well I will put my own little bit in here for ya. The Colts are going to kill the Bears. The Bears dont have a chance. They dont have the defense to stop either the Colts running or passing attack. Peyton will confuse them all day. What you think Tony dont know how Lovies going to play this game? Tonys the teacher Lovie is the pupil. And dont get me started on that offense in Chicago. Dont try to tell me how good Rex is because he isnt. The man had a 0QB rating one game that is pathetic. The only reason he is not on the bench is because they play in a creampuff conference with no other talented teams. Seattle and the Cowboys who are as inconsistent as Rexs passing game. Yes I will go to say anyone can win on any given day. But this is the road that Tony and Peyton wont choke on. As Tom Brady says"Its Destiny."

Diggity you have to take into consideration the conference. Ive already stated how weak the NFC is. Come on an 8-8 team can make it in the playoffs thats pretty bad. Six games against losing teams just in their division alone.. Thats leaves them with 10 other games. Like I said when they had to play a good team like New England they faltered. So no one tries the Rex card tying Peyton for mose 100+ QB rating games he also had 5 games with a rating under 40. I wanted to keep this nice and cilil. Like I said with the tougher teams the Colts play thats why they should win.

Your research is flawed and seemingly biased. You need to add some intangibles into your research. First is that you suggest that because the Bears lost to GB they are a lesser team when in fact they only played there starters half the game as our playoff scenario was already determined with 3 weeks left. That would include the rex 0 passer rating as he did not play the majority of that game. Based on his numbers he throws 2 completions in a row and he is above 50. Peyton has thrown 6 ints and only 2 td's this postseason so suggesting the Bears defense cannot contain him is also bias and flawed. The COLTS lost to Houston maybe equals the Bears loss to Miami. The bears lost to new england and held them to 17 points in foxboro with about 5 turnovers! the colts just gave up 34 in there dome! finally, since you are into stats...here are reputable and proven stats that disclaim your entire argument of research:

There's a system that I've been using for the past 16 years that has correctly predicted the Super Bowl winner 14 times. It involves 12 predictors that each successfully predict the Super Bowl winner roughly 55 to 70 percent of the time, but taken together they work even better. Last year, for the first time in those 16 years, we had to go to the tie-breaker when the categories were tied 6-6 between the Steelers and Seahawks ( Can you predict the Super Bowl winner?).

The twelve categories are broken into five defensive statistics, four offensive and three overall. The winning percentage for each of the categories is based on how often that category favored the eventual Super Bowl winner. The chart below shows all of the percentages.

Now let's look at Super Bowl XLI:

Category Winning Percentage Team with Advantage
Rushing Yards / Attempt .550 Colts
Rushing Yards .550 Bears
Opponent Net Passing Yards .550 Colts
Points Scored .588 Tie
Opponent Rushing Yards / Attempt .600 Bears
Fewer Net Passing Yards .600 Bears
Turnover Differential .625 Bears
Opponent Rushing Yards .625 Bears
Point Differential .663 Bears
Regular Season Record .688 Bears
Opponent Total Yards / Game .700 Bears
Points Allowed .713 Bears

The Bears take the last eight categories, which are the best predictors, all at 60% or better. Of those eight, five are defensive, which confirms the adage: Defense wins championships. Overall, the Bears take nine categories and the Colts only two, with one tie. There have been 18 occasions where the system favored one of the teams with nine or more categories. That team has won 15 times.

The system leans significantly towards the Bears winning their first Super Bowl in 21 years.

The Bears cant choose there conference. It has no bearing whatsoever. The game they lost to new england was the third of a 3 game east coast road swing, not necessarily an excuse, but I recall the colts lost 3 in a row. The conference is such a bad argument. If one team is superior to the others in that conference - it is just an empty suggestion. I think my stats are proven and yours are biased so give me the BEST ANSWER since the research is LEGITIMATE.

Piss off kid. Take all your homework and wipe yourself when the Bears take the ball away from the Colts runners on Sunday.

The Colts almost gave up a return td to the pats last week...they wont get away with that crappy coverage against Hester. Colts lost to the Texans, remember.

The Bears have an us against the world attitude developed from being underestimated all season long. Just wait and see on Sunday.

After reading the answers given, and the amendments made by the questioner, I will have to say that no matter how logical, or well argued your answer, there is no correct answer, except for the questioner's answer to his own question, so I will just take my 2 points, and go on.
Oh, by the way,
GO FORTH CHICAGO BEARS KICK A_SS AND WIN SUPER BOWL XLI
