i'm sick of being single on valentine's day and seeing all these couples...any tips on how to get over this??

My sister's in the same boat, so I'll tell you what I tell her: these same cooing couples may be in a screaming match next week; you can't know for a fact if they are as happy as they seem!
The reader above who said throw a singles party has the right idea; think of all the good things that you have to offer, and celebrate them!

Many bars and clubs have anti-Valentine's Day parties for single people. Check into those, or throw one of your own for your single friends at your house!
