Hi, Professor X
I'm sorry I forgot to include the field. The field is Film Studies. If you can edit your answer to help me, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

Also, do you need to be affiliated with a university (either work there or be a student) to submit abstract's and present at conferences? Or are they open to anyone? Thank you again.

You didn't specify your field of study.
I know of absolutely NO places where CFPs and conferences for all fields of study are included.

But here's a good one for the humanities and social sciences.

And no, you need not necessarily be affiliated with any academic institution to respond to some CFPs. However, many conferences are sponsored by particular scholarly associations, and limit participation to members. (But you can simply become a member before you submit the abstract or paper. Pay your dues, and then you're in.) Some conferences are also self-limiting in terms of participants, such as graduate student conferences that are sponsored by a particular graduate department in the field.
