Since this question is in the Comics and Animation section, then I'll list my favorite anime song.
I have two tied for my favorite anime song, both from Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, GIG 1:
Inner Universe (opening theme)
Stamina Rose
I also like Cruel Angel Thesis from Neon Genesis Evangelion (opening theme) and Yume no Shima Shinen Kouen from Paranoia Agent.
