Great answer, teacher/dad... I, myself, would have imagined the marijuana prohibition would have ended long ago.. The argument against decriminalization should be realized,by now, for cryin out loud... We are spending BILLIONS annually, and incarceranating thousands of kids for trying to have a good time... When will the insanity end ??? Ck the criminal arrests for Amsterdam, and you will see that legalizing pot does not necessarily equate to more arrests... Does anyone, other than myself, realize why the prisons are overcrowded, and continue to be built ??? Decriminalization NOW would free the prisons for the type of people the were intended for to begin with... If the average person really realized wher their money was going, they would be truly amazed...Why, in this day & age, must the ignorance persit??? Yeah, Big Brother now has my address... So what ????? Only a matter of time till the general poulation figures out that they hav been duped, and sooner or later, common sense will prevail.... If not common sense, they will FINIALLY realize how much money has been poured down a bottomless pit in the guise of "saving humanity",.,, Prohibition has NEVER worked, and will continueto fail... Please understand, I do NOT advocate the use of hard drugs,(which most countries, but not the US, seperate into classes, hard drugs ( herion, cocaine, and soft drugs, pot ) Legalize pot, license and tax it, and let bygones beygones... Let the peoplein prison out for marijuana offenses... How much longer must the insanity pesist ??? This country was founded on the pretense of "free choice, and free will"... When did that go away...and when will it return ???????????

Because of the subject, it's not paranoid at all. I am a teacher and I agree with your cause. I would much rather see people use a substance that does not destroy your life, rather than chemicals that kill you. I have seen too many empty chairs and half raised flags at my school already.
If you want to start up your blog, just be careful and just keep specifics at a legal level. You can't get in trouble talking about it, only for using it.

I've seen lots of blogs that tell the truth about a lot of topics, and they don't go away. You're only paranoid if they're not actually out to get you. Marijuana, however, does have that side effect. I saw it in my sister when she was using.
Just a thought...

maybe you are a paranoid realist? Sure what the government does can impact your life but I don't think they are out to get individuals who smoke marijuana. I mean yes in the big picture they are trying to get rid of it but they don't physically go after people who do it unless they grow it and are very public about it. They go more after the people who supply it and grow it, etc.

I can see not blogging about marijuana reform, but I would not hesitate to blog about political veiws and peace, because that is not illegal, and they cannot arrest you for your opinion.
