if you know you're going to get less than two hours of sleep the night before a test, would you just go to sleep, or rather stay awake all night?

i would be better off staying awake and using the two hours to study a little more. i would be afraid if i went to sleep it would only make things worse or that i would over sleep.

Stay awake but take a 20 min nap. Studies have shown that a 15-20 min nap are better than only a couple hours of sleep because a 2 hour sleep will make you groggy and sluggish. A short nap leaves you refreshed for a period of time long enough to take the test.

I think it really depends on you. For me I would do better getting a slight nap before the test than not sleeping at all. I seem to be able to focus better after getting the nap because I am not distracted with thinking about going to sleep and can focus better on the test.

i would try to study as much as i can but still try to get enough sleep... you can always study right before the test and remember alot of information. the worst thing you can do is stay up all night and than when its time to take the test you're too tired to concentrate.

I will sleep early and wake up early in the morning at 3:00 AM and begin studying. Because my opinion is that studying in a fresh atmosphere helps our brain to grasp the things what ever we study.
