1. The Calvin cycle could not continue to be a cycle. Some of the three-carbon compounds are shuttled off to build glucose, but some of them have to be sent along to continue the cycle. Carbon dioxide has to be added to SOMETHING when it enters the cycle.

2. Temp. increase would increase water loss through transpiration. Plants might not be able to maintain homeostasis in relation to water under those conditions.
