OK I think that everyone has the right to choose what sex that they are attracted to. But I do know that when you are in a relationship with people that are different you are going to have some people say and do stupid things. This is sometimes the stuff you have to put up with when you are around people that are not accepted. There are things that you yourself can do. Standing up for you friend is one thing but saying I'm friends with him because i don't have to worry about this in that is not a good stand. Saying that you like him because of the person he is and how he treats you is. If I were you I would say I'm friends with him and if you don't like it that's your problem. As Long as your happy what other people say shouldn't matter.

You're straight. By dictionary definition you participated in a gay act. But what you do in bed does not determine your sexuality. There are plenty of straight men who have sex with men and there are plenty of straight women who have sex with women. The true definition of being gay is having a sexual and an emotional/romantic desire to be with another guy, the true definition of being bi is having a sexual and an emotional/romantic desire to be with either a guy or a girl. You two had sex, unless you now want to start dating him, I'd say you're just straight and very open minded.

They're just jealous that you have such a good friend. I have alot of gay male friends and my husband and family like them too. Be friends with whoever you want. Good friends are hard to find. I don't care if people call me a f*g hag or a fruit fly or whatever. They know what they can kiss.

Are you comfortable in your relationships? Don't let someone else dictate what you believe, slurs aside. If they don't understand, that is their loss, not yours- you've gained a friendship whereas sexuality alternatives should not be precedent- there's too much hatred in the world to begin with and to hear your own family out you by saying something is disrespectful. Throw caution to the wind and do what your heart says. I hope this helps.

I think you should ignore their ignrant comments. If you feed into them and argue back they will just keep on. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a gay friend, they're just looking for a reason to give you a hard time. If you ignore them they'll probably stop bothering you about it.

Of about 6 best friends - I have a couple of straight girls, one straight boy, a lesbian and a gay man. Seriously, the whole gang! If anybody picked on any of my friends, or me for being friends with them I wouldn't want to have anything to do with them - they must be lame or boring or just plain stupid. Don't let anybody choose your friends for you.

sounds like your friends are just uncomfortable with homosexuality. They need to get a grip and get over it. Its no different than a straight friend (male or female)

Be friends with whoever you want to be friends. Just ignore the teasing. Those people sound very childish anyway.
