When did it become so lame? The first and second time around it was for talent, and now it seems like the entertainment come from hearing horrible people sing, and the judges make fun of their voices and appearance. Where did all the talent go?

This year the audition shows seem to be particularly pandering to the fakes, William Hung wannabees, the sob stories rather than focusing on the ones who actually made it through to Hollywood. Some of them are actually funny, but I agree...it get's really old after awhile, and I wish they would show more of the talented singers and not waste so much airtime on these morons. Unfortunately the talent is being put on the backburner because these attention seeking goobers who can't sing are bringing in the ratings.

There are definitely people on there for talent. Are you kidding me? And anyways, there are a lot of people they don't even show that are amazing. Like the indian brother and sister. they were great!
