The NES , Super Nintendo , Sega Genesis , or Playstation 2 .
My personal favorite remains the NES but that may be nostalgia .

My heart will always stay faithful to the Sega Genesis. I think that system was even better than the SNES, and I love the SNES. But sonic, Vectorman,Comix Zone, Altered Beast, Golden Axe are all underrated games that redefined what gaming should be.

It all depends on my mood. Sometimes I would really enjoy playing a system with cheesy 8-bit graphics, like NES, for games like Mario and stuff. At other times, I would just like to pull out the realistic First-person shooters and kill some Artificial people to blow off some steam. Other times, I'm just in a Mario mood, so I play the SNES emulator that I have on my Xbox and play Super Mario World.. it's an ABSOLUTE classic! Then there's those times where I'm just like.. Sonic.. you're my only friend, haha, not literally of course. Sonic is also an absolute classic. Super Mario and Sonic .. the originals.. are two games that will NEVER get old. Of course, I don't believe they will ever become new again, but of course that's not a bad thing. Classics are usually better than new versions.

THE PLAYSTATION 2! My first was the NES and loved it but I move on with technology pretty fast lol. I love Ps2 because of the technology it brought with it. I still have 2 set up in my room and a joint spliter to play two different games at once and I can keep them on and play them both. Right now I have a set up in my room dedicated to my DDR's lol I just love DDR because of its interaction capability. I still have tons of cars in my garage in Gran Turismo 3 and 4: The Prologue. Good question.

The best one if youre fine with stuff thats a little old school is the N64. It has the most addicting and great games:
super mario 64
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
conker's bad fur day
donkey kong
mario tennis
pokemon stadium

well u get the idea, but if u dont wanna go out of your way, the best console for you is the PS2. great games, easy to find, and reasonably priced.

so its

N64 vs. PS2

you choose:

N64: have to get games on ebay, old, not perfect graphics.
PS2: easy to find but not as much good games as N64

I have an N64 and love it and my friends have PS2's and love em but its ur decision

I loved the NES
Dr. Mario was my all time favorite game
(the one where he tosses the pills and you have to line the up by color).
What an awesome way to relax after a hard day of work.
The best thing about the game is that if and when this one breaks, I can pick up one one ebay and have it shipped to my door for cheaper than the cost of one new game for the ps2 or ps3.
