Usually, schools only close due to road conditions, so temperature doesn't have so much to do with it.

Scools might close it 15 below,0 the Ice & snow is what closes Schools.

Well in the colder states, they usually close schools when the windchill factor goes as low as -20 degrees.

it closes here if its just a few snow flurries and cold,i live in a higher elevation and the roads get very bad.you could fall off the cliff.

It depends on driving conditions for the school buses...if there is ice, or hills...if people can't get to school safely, it's closed, right ?
