I bought my husband a Nintendo Wii for his birthday last week, and he's been playing it for a few hours a day, and the other day he got a bad migrane headache, which he's never had before in his life. Could the headache be related to playing the Wii?

YES!!! it's not the wii, it happens with every game. If you play it for too long you (or your husband) WILL get a headic. It happens to me everytime i get anew game.

He can still play it, just tell hime to take a break everyonce in a while. And tell him not to get too close to the t.v.

Most likely, just like if someone watches TV for too long its bad for their eyes and they can get a headache. I recently got the new Zelda game and I was addicted to it, and would play hours at a time. It was horrible because I would have a migraine too sometimes when I would wake up in the morning and it would affect my schedule for work and school. It was like I was REALLY addicted to it, those kinds of things can be very addicting and its hard to realize it. Try suggesting that he takes 15 min brakes at least every hour.

duuuuh, tell your husband to less the amount of time playing the wii. That happened to my sister too and lasted for 2 months. Time limit would be 1 hour at most. Hope your husband feels better.
