At the 2004 (and 2008 elections) the great state of Nevada will send 5 representatives to the electoral college each of whom will represent whoever polled the majority vote in the state.

The number is determined by the decade census which determines the number of congressional districts. At the moment there are three congressmen and because every state has two senators, two senators. The electoral college allocation is calculated by adding the two elections together (3 congressional districts + 2 senators = 5 ECV's). If the population ever changes signficantly, then the state will either gain or lose electoral votes (but cannot fall below three)

2 Senators, plus 1 Representative for about every 600K people, rounded down. Nevada has just under 2 million people, so it should be 3 Reps. I think the answer is 5.
