where can i go to find someones cemetary plot without payin?

we think someone has might have died but we are not for sure were to start lookin we know the name and what city and state now how can i find death records

I don't know of the no cost way to check death records-unless you look on a newspapers microfisch machine. If you know the city, state, then you could call the local funeral homes and see if the person is buried at their plots. If they are, then the funeral home where they are buried would be able to help you locate where on the property the body is buried. Take care.
