Can you drive at all. I mean this would be the first thing I would suggest at least this way you can get to where you need too right away. Can one of your class mates carry your books for you? I know it's college but hey there is no harm in seeing if you could have some one help you. Also you may want to check and see if your school has a disability services office. They could be able to give you some great resources on getting to and from and if you can get help or what not. I don't know what else to tell you other than congrats and I hope you can finish out your semester.

Do your best to finish this semester. I know it might be hard but you will have plenty of time to rest after the baby. That way you could take a semester off or 2 or 3 cause trust after the baby comes you will think less about school. I know of a girl that had her baby on a Friday and was at school Monday but it's really about what you can handle and what you can take. So just do what you can for now. Talk to your professors, they may be understanding. But finish what you started then after the baby I hope you have the right mind frame to start back. Good Luck!

I got pregnant when I was 19, and I was also in college. I took a leave of absence. Pregnancy is straining on your body, and most likely you will only get more uncomfortable. Light excercise is good, but too much activity could be bad for you and your baby. You can always finish school (especially with the support of your parents and husband) but if anything were to happen to you or your baby, that would be permanent.

In all honesty, if you are stressing, college can wait. This is just my personal opinion however. There will be time to go back. I know it can be harder with a little one, but it can be done. If you can drop your classes without losing any money, I would definitely consider leaving this semester and returning in the fall. Depending on your due date, this would give you some time with your newborn, and then you can pick up with school in the fall semester. Best wishes and congrats on the little one :)

The answer would depend on whether you are having a difficulty pregnancy or not. The best person, however, who could best answer your question is your OB-gyne since he/she can assess whether or not the stress you're putting yourself into could harm your pregnancy. Usually in the first trimester of your pregnancy, doctors advised to limit your travel especially if the road you're traversing is bumpy considering that the first trimester is the most delicate period of a woman's pregnancy. So it is really a matter of assessing your current physical condition vis-a-vis the kind of enviroment and stress you have to deal with. I was in my second year in law school when i got pregnant and that didnt stop me from going to school since, aside from the normal symptoms and discomfort of pregnancy, it wasnt a difficult pregnancy. Furthermore, school was just a few minutes away from our house. So when you visit your OB-gyne, be sure to tell her all your concerns so she can give you a more accurate assessment. It is likewise advisable to write down all your questions on a piece of paper so you wont forget a thing and would save you on more visits with your OB-gyne.

many schools have a medical deferment in place for circumstances like yours, where you cannot complete a semester due to a medical disability. You can usually suspend you classes for an set amount of time, and pick up where you left off. Talk to a counselor or student services.

I know its hard but you may want to suck it up and do it. Me personally I never had desire to go to school and Im 19 as well and this baby is what is pushing me to go to school so I can provide for it well. The sleep thing was hard at first but after the first trimester its easier to wake up. I went to school puking, hurting, sleep deprived and still made straight A's. You can do it girl, we can do it.
