ok i cant deny the fact that shes hot

but im just wondering about the latest "outburst" by her as people are calling her fat....

its either

1. she really is against people who are thin and asking people to embrace their body

or

2.with the swimsuit pose - she is just trying to convince herself that she is not fat or in denial about people calling her fat since she never had people calling her that or need to feel good about herself.. i really dont know how to describe ...

what are yr thoughts

She's trying to combat the attitude that you have to be pencil thin to be considered beautiful. She's admittedly gained 30 pounds but that's because she is RETIRED from modeling and is tired of having to live up to everyone elses idea of what beauty is. She weighs 160 pounds and is still gorgeous.

Her swimsuit pose was done because she's not hiding from anyone or anything.

I think that since she has been in the public eye...atleast in the verbal sense, she has had a "embrace who you are," outlook. She actually spends a lot of time "bashing," the modeling industry if you think about all she does and says, so I don't think she is necessarily having an outburst, I think she is using this opportunity to reinforce what she has always been about. I think she is also having a hard time dealing with the idea of being called fat because she does come from such a critical industry, that she probably either inherently or not inherently has learned to react to being called fat with some sort of emotional upset. She even stated that it is upsetting to her....which I sort of wished she didn't put her insecurities out there because it made her look a little less strong.

I am actually a little ashamed of myself, because I have been watching her body change over the last few months and actually found joy in the idea that she was gaining weight. It makes me feel good to see something that society deemed as perfect is not much different than me. My shame lies in the idea that I am in fact one of the many insecure females out there obsessed with body shape...my comfort was in the idea that Tyra was gaining weight and seemed so okay with it. This is why I wish she did not admit that she was bothered about being called fat.

People need to worry about her own weight and not her's. She is averaged sized and it is nice to see someone is embracing their figure. It sickens me that people judge other peoples value based on what a simple scale says.

its all about ratings. If you didn't make a big deal about it, the media wouldn't either.
